September Seasonally Adjusted Inflation Data Announced

The Turkish Statistical Institute announced the seasonally adjusted inflation data for September. According to the released figures, the monthly increase rate in September was 1.61 percent.
Monthly Inflation Increase
According to data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the seasonally adjusted monthly inflation increase in September was at the level of 1.61 percent. In the previous month of August, this rate had been recorded as 2.19 percent.
Goods Group Developments
According to the same data, the monthly increase in the goods group was calculated as 1.45 percent. When the sub-breakdowns of the goods group were examined, the highest increase was seen in the energy group with a rate of 6.25 percent.
Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Status
In September, a notable decrease was experienced in the fresh fruit and vegetable group. Prices in the relevant group declined by 7.34 percent compared to the previous month.
Services Group and Rent Increases
The monthly increase recorded in the services group in September was 1.85 percent. The highest increases within this group occurred in other services with 2.17 percent and in the rent item with 2.03 percent.
