Stating that necessary steps have been taken against these identified negative situations, Şimşek expressed that the measures taken at the current stage are at a sufficient level and there is no need for additional precautions.

Savings Finance Sector and Legal Process

Stating that the savings finance sector has recorded rapid growth, Minister Mehmet Şimşek announced that additional steps could be taken by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency if needed.

Reminding that the issue was referred to judicial authorities following the steps taken by the Capital Markets Board, Şimşek stated that everyone who fails to comply with the rules and does wrong will face the consequences without discrimination.
