Statement on Trade Volume and Targets with the US from Trade Minister Bolat
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat stated that the trade volume with the US exceeded 38 billion dollars last year and reached 47 billion dollars including service trade.
Speaking at the Global Business Summit held in the US, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat announced that the total trade volume between Turkey and the US exceeded 38 billion dollars last year and is expected to reach the 42-43 billion dollar level this year.

Trade Minister Ömer Bolat, who traveled to the US within the scope of the 81st UN General Assembly, attended the Global Business Summit organized by the Turkish-American Businessmen Association in the state of New Jersey.
In his speech there, Bolat drew attention to the rapid progress recorded in Turkey-US relations in recent years and the positive reflections of high-level dialogue between the two countries on the business world.
Bilateral Trade Volume and Targets
Emphasizing that the US is a critical trade partner for Turkey, Minister Bolat stated that the trade volume between the two countries exceeded 38 billion dollars last year.
Conveying that a volume between 42 and 43 billion dollars is expected for the current year, Bolat reported that this figure reaches 47 billion dollars when service trade is included.
Investment Potential and Strategic Partnership
Stating that Turkish-American relations are based on strong mutual investments beyond commercial exchange, Bolat noted that there is a massive investment potential for American companies in the manufacturing, energy, finance, agriculture, services, and digital sectors.
