Stating that they are celebrating the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, Ambassador Haydarov conveyed that the GDP has reached $145 billion over this past period, with a target of $300 billion set for 2030.

Reminding that relations with Turkey are based on deep historical ties and that Turkey was the first country to recognize its independence, Haydarov noted that political dialogues have been institutionalized through the 4+4 mechanism.

Trade Volume and Tourism Targets

Stating that the trade volume reached $3 billion at the end of 2025, Haydarov added that the number of visitors coming from Turkey is expected to exceed 200,000 by the end of the year.
