Liquidation and review processes are ongoing following payment and liquidity problems experienced in certain funds within the capital markets. Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek announced that official steps have been taken for investors to receive their receivables.
Inter-Institutional Coordination and Legal Steps
It was stated that all relevant institutions are working in coordination regarding the troubled funds and that the aim is to make payments to investors in the highest amount. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice is carrying out the legal process to protect investor rights and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
Newly Established Boards and Audits
Following the fund crisis, coordination among public institutions was increased, and the Fund Coordination Board was established on September 29. Additionally, the State Supervisory Council has launched detailed investigations into fund transactions.
