Strategic Visit to MKE Production Facility in Samsun

The 4 million square meter MKE Samsun Production Facility, implemented in the Çarşamba district of Samsun, was inspected on-site with the participation of protocol members and ROKETSAN executives.
Inspection of the Giant Facility
Samsun continues to take strategic steps toward becoming one of Turkey's production bases in the defense industry. Established on a vast 4-million-square-meter area in the Çarşamba district, the MKE Samsun Production Facility increases the city's weight in this field.
This major investment implemented by the Machinery and Chemical Industry provides significant momentum to the region's industrial infrastructure and production capacity.
Protocol and Delegation Participation
Samsun Governor Orhan Tavlı and TBMM Plan and Budget Committee Chairman and Samsun Deputy Mehmet Muş attended the inspection visit.
Additionally, Samsun deputies Ersan Aksu and Orhan Kırcalı, ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Halit Doğan, and AK Party Samsun Provincial Chairman Mehmet Köse took part in the delegation.
Industrial Ecosystem and Cooperation
Detailed evaluations were made regarding the ongoing work and investment processes at the facility within the scope of the visit. The presence of the ROKETSAN General Manager in the program also highlighted the cooperation potential among sector organizations.
Kavak and Havza Inspections
Following the inspections at the MKE facility, the delegation moved to the Kavak Organized Industrial and Technology Zone to examine production, employment, and export activities.
During the Havza Organized Industrial and Technology Zone leg of the program, new industrial investments and investment opportunities in the region were discussed.
