Sustainable Supply Chain Program Launched for Companies
UN Global Compact Turkey is launching a new program aiming to transform companies' suppliers, in cooperation with MEXT and with the support of Türkiye İş Bankası.
Established by UN Global Compact Turkey in cooperation with MEXT and with the support of Türkiye İş Bankası, the Sustainable Supply Chain Program aims to reduce the environmental and governance risks of businesses.
Main Aims and Objectives of the Program
The Sustainable Supply Chain Program is designed to contribute to companies effectively managing environmental and governance risks in their supply chains.
The initiative also aims to develop the transformation capacity of suppliers and make this process more resilient.
Challenges and Solutions in the Transformation Process
UN Global Compact Turkey Chairperson Güliz Öztürk stated that the multi-layered structure of supply chains and existing data deficiencies make it difficult to spread the transformation.
Öztürk emphasized that in this context, they support companies and their suppliers in progressing together on their transformation journey.
Application Process and Schedule
It was announced that applications for the eagerly awaited Sustainable Supply Chain Program can be made until November 3.
Interested companies will be able to complete their application processes by the specified date and participate in this transformation program.
