Tesla's Third-Quarter Deliveries Exceed Market Expectations
Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla surpassed market expectations by delivering 486,532 vehicles in the third quarter of the year.
Tesla has released its production and delivery data for the July-September period of 2026. According to the disclosed figures, the company produced 464,391 vehicles in the third quarter, while its deliveries reached the level of 486,532.
Increase in Production Data
Tesla announced that it produced a total of 464,391 vehicles in the third quarter of the year. The company's vehicle production registered an increase of 3.8 percent compared to the same period of last year.
Having produced 447,450 vehicles in the third quarter of last year, the company increased its production by 2.8 percent in the third quarter of this year compared to the previous quarter.
Delivery Figures and Expectations
Tesla's vehicle deliveries in the third quarter came in above market experts' expectations of around 461,000. The company made 486,532 deliveries during this period.
While the realized delivery figures showed a 2.1 percent decrease on an annual basis, they recorded a 1.3 percent increase compared to the previous quarter.
