Togg T10X and T10F models reach the top in monthly car market sales
Despite the contraction in the automotive market, Togg models ranked among the most preferred vehicles on a monthly basis.
Turkey's global mobility brand Togg reached the top by taking the first two places in monthly sales with its T10X and T10F models, despite the general contraction in the automotive market.
Contraction in the Automotive Market
According to data from the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association, total car sales last month decreased by 25.16 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, dropping to 61,529 units.
Sales Success of Togg Models
Despite the shrinkage in the market, Togg models demonstrated a strong performance and managed to take the top two spots in monthly sales.
While the Togg T10X became the most preferred model of the market with a sales figure of 2,939 units, the T10F secured the second position with 1,947 sales.
Other Popular Models
Sharing the same sales figures as the Togg T10F, the Kia Sportage shared the second place, while the Renault Duster ranked third, Renault Clio fourth, and Hyundai i20 fifth.
January-August Period Table
In total sales on a model basis during the first eight months of the year, the Renault Clio maintained its leadership with 31,643 units, while the Togg T10X ranked third with 17,783 sales.
Share of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles
Last month, the share of electric vehicles in total sales stood at 19.4 percent, while the market share of electric and hybrid cars reached a total of 53.7 percent.
