Total Turnover Index Recorded Annual and Monthly Increase in July 2026
According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the total turnover index of the four main sectors showed an increase on both an annual and monthly basis in July 2026.
According to the July 2026 data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the total turnover index in the industry, construction, trade, and services sectors increased by 30.2 percent annually and 1.7 percent monthly.

According to the announced data, in July 2026, the industry sector turnover index increased by 31.5 percent annually, the construction turnover index by 35.8 percent, the trade turnover index by 27.7 percent, and the services sector turnover index by 34.5 percent annually.
Monthly Turnover Developments of Sectors
In the July 2026 period, while the industry sector turnover index increased by 3 percent monthly, the construction turnover index by 9.2 percent, and the services turnover index by 2.5 percent, the trade turnover index remained unchanged compared to the previous month.
Annual Change in Trade Sales Volume
The trade sales volume recorded a decrease of 0.6 percent in July 2026 compared to the same month of the previous year.
Annual Sub-Sector Sales Volumes
While the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles decreased by 9.8 percent, wholesale trade sales volume decreased by 4.2 percent, and retail trade sales volume increased by 10.4 percent.
Monthly Change in Trade Sales Volume
The trade sales volume experienced a decline of 2.5 percent in July 2026 compared to the previous month.

While the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 0.9 percent, wholesale trade sales volume decreased by 4.5 percent, and retail trade sales volume increased by 0.2 percent.
