Trade Minister Bolat Emphasizes Production and Growth in Tekirdağ

Trade Minister Ömer Bolat attended the opening ceremony of the Agriculture, Industry, Livestock and Technologies Fair held in Tekirdağ and delivered a speech.
In his opening speech, Minister Bolat stated that Tekirdağ has become a shining star of the country and highlights its strong aspects in agriculture and industry.
Supply Security in Agriculture
Emphasizing that supply security in agriculture is a matter of national security, the Minister of Trade stated that Turkey ranks among the top 10 countries in agricultural production worldwide.
2026 Growth Targets
Stating that 2026 is a year of abundance and prosperity, Minister Bolat conveyed that the agricultural sector recorded a growth of 13.3 percent in the second quarter.
He added that, as a ministry, they foresee closing the year overall with growth above 3 percent.
Cash Support for Tradespeople
Giving an important piece of good news at the end of his speech, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat announced that 150 million liras in cash support will be sent for tradespeople in Tekirdağ and its districts.
