Treasury Cash Balance Posts Deficit of 467.2 Billion Liras in September
According to data announced by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, a significant deficit was recorded in the budget as a result of the difference between cash revenues and expenditures in September.
According to the September cash realization report announced by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Treasury's cash balance realized a deficit of 467 billion 153 million liras in the relevant month.
Cash Revenue and Expenditure Distribution
According to data shared by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Treasury's total cash revenues realized at the level of 1 trillion 331 billion 151 million liras in September. Total cash expenditures in the same period amounted to 1 trillion 798 billion 304 million liras.
Non-Interest Expenditures and Payments
In the details of the expenditures made in September, non-interest expenditures were recorded as 1 trillion 524 billion 436 million liras. The amount of realized interest payments stood at the level of 273 billion 868 million liras.
Primary Balance and Deficit
According to the official data announced, the primary balance gave a deficit of 193 billion 285 million liras in September. As a result of all these developments, a cash deficit of 467 billion 153 million liras occurred throughout September.
Exchange Rate and Cash Calculations
The decrease stemming from exchange rate differences in September's cash realizations was calculated as 11 billion 487 million liras. On the other hand, a decrease of 174 billion 589 million liras was observed in the net cash and bank account.
