TROY and Capital Markets Targets Within the Scope of the New Term MTP
Within the framework of the Medium-Term Program covering the 2027-2029 period, it is planned to expand the use of the domestic card scheme TROY and strengthen the capital markets.
According to the Medium-Term Program covering the years 2027-2029, new studies will be carried out to increase the efficiency of capital markets, diversify Turkish lira savings instruments, and increase the widespread use of the domestic card scheme TROY.
Development of Capital Markets
Stating that steps regarding investors and capital markets will continue in the upcoming period, it was expressed that the regulatory framework will be reviewed in order to increase the efficiency of the markets.
Risk Monitoring Systems and Public Offerings
The Investor Risk Center will be established, and the Investor Risk Tracking System will be created in order to monitor risks in capital markets and detect systemic risks.
Digital Currency and Financial Technologies
The regulatory infrastructure will be developed to expand financial technologies, and infrastructure studies for the introduction of the Digital Turkish lira will be completed.
TROY and Payment Systems
Studies will be carried out to increase the widespread use of the domestic and national card scheme TROY in card payments, and the prevalence of FAST and layered services will be increased.
