TÜRİB ELÜS Market 2026 Third Quarter Trading Volume Data Announced
Significant increases in volume and quantity were recorded in the Turkish Product Exchange ELÜS Market in the third quarter of 2026.
Trading volume in the Turkish Product Exchange's Electronic Product Receipt Market reached 135.2 billion liras and trading quantity reached 8.7 million tons in the third quarter of 2026.
Third Quarter Trading Volume and Quantity
In transactions carried out between July 1 and September 30, the total volume was recorded at 135.2 billion TL.
During this period, the trading quantity stood at 8.7 million tons, while the total number of transactions was 355 thousand.
Total Figures for the Entire Year
Transactions conducted through TÜRİB since the beginning of the year showed that the market continues its growth.
From January to the end of the third quarter, the total trading volume rose to 190 billion TL, the trading quantity to 12.78 million tons, and the number of transactions to 396 thousand.
Bread Wheat Ranks First in Daily Average Trading Quantities
In the third quarter, bread wheat ranked at the top in daily average trading quantity with 77,555 tons.
This product was followed by durum wheat with 21,809 tons, barley with 21,542 tons, corn with 11,692 tons, and sunflower seeds with 1,752 tons.
Changes Realized on a Product Basis
The trading volume of bread wheat increased by 158 percent to 80.8 billion TL, and its quantity rose by 114 percent to 5 million 41 thousand 90 tons.
While the trading volume in barley surged by 684 percent to reach 18 billion TL, declines were observed in both the volume and quantity of corn.
Rise in Agricultural Product Indices
The agricultural product indices announced by TÜRİB generally followed an upward trajectory in the third quarter.
The Wheat Index increased by 28.74 percent, and the Grain Index recorded a rise of 26.82 percent.
Licensed Warehouse Capacity and Prevalence
The number of active licensed warehouses forming the infrastructure of the system reached 291.
Licensed warehouses continue to provide services across 54 provinces and 170 districts with a total capacity of 15.4 million tons.
