Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar shared Turkey's energy vision with international stakeholders by participating in the COP31-UAE UN High-Level Energy Transitions Solutions Dialogue at the UN Headquarters.

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar announced in a post on his social media account that they participated in the COP31-UAE UN High-Level Energy Transitions Solutions Dialogue held at the United Nations Headquarters. Emine Erdoğan's addresses at the summit were also heard.
Strategic Measures and Supply Security
The importance of electrification was emphasized in the face of globally deepening supply problems and rising energy costs. Its strategic role in reducing emissions, strengthening energy supply security, and lowering dependence on imported fuels was conveyed.
2040 Energy Vision
It was stated that electrification will be at the center of Turkey's 2040 energy vision. Every area of the economy is targeted to be integrated with more electricity.
Investment Potential and Sectoral Targets
It was stated that a vision carrying an investment potential of over $300 billion in the energy and mining sectors by 2040 is targeted.
