Economic relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan continue to develop. The total foreign trade volume between the two sides reached a size of 9.4 billion dollars in the first six-month period of 2026.

In the same period, Turkey's exports to the region materialized at the level of 5 billion dollars.

Turkey's imports from the region in the first half of the year were recorded as 4.4 billion dollars.

During this period, Turkey gave a foreign trade surplus of approximately 615 million dollars in its trade with the Turkic republics.

Turkey's bilateral trade volume with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan in the last 5 years has reached a significant level.

Among the Turkic republics, the country to which Turkey realized the most exports was Kazakhstan.
