Turkish Statistical Institute Announces Seasonally Adjusted Inflation Data for September
According to data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the seasonally adjusted monthly inflation increase for September stood at 1.61 percent.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) shared the seasonally adjusted inflation data for September with the public. According to the announced figures, the monthly increase in September was recorded at the 1.61 percent level.
September Inflation Rates
According to the seasonally adjusted data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the monthly increase rate in September was determined as 1.61 percent. In the previous month of August, this increase rate was recorded at the level of 2.19 percent.
Price Movements in the Goods Group
According to the same data, the monthly increase in the goods group was calculated as 1.45 percent. When examining the sub-breakdowns of the goods group, the highest increase was seen in the energy group with a rate of 6.25 percent. On the other hand, a decrease of 7.34 percent was experienced in the fresh fruits and vegetables group.
Developments in the Services Group
The monthly increase rate recorded in the services group in September was 1.85 percent. The most prominent price increases within this group emerged in the other services item with 2.17 percent and in the rent sector with 2.03 percent.
