TURKSTAT Announces July 2026 Services Producer Price Index Data
According to data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, services inflation recorded an increase on a monthly basis in July.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) shared the July 2026 Services Producer Price Index data with the public. Accordingly, the S-PPI increased by 3.94 percent in July compared to the previous month.
July Change Rates
The Turkish Statistical Institute announced the Services Producer Price Index results for the July 2026 period. According to the announced figures, the index recorded an increase of 3.94 percent in July compared to the previous month.
While the annual increase rate was realized as 32.77 percent, the cumulative increase since the beginning of the year was calculated at the level of 28.95 percent.
Annual and Monthly Trends
The Services Producer Price Index change rates continued their downward trend on an annual basis. The annual increase rate, which was 36.35 percent in the same period of last year, dropped to 32.77 percent this year.
When developments on a monthly basis are examined, the increase rate in July turned out above the 3.21 percent level recorded in the same month of last year.
Annual Increases in Sub-Sectors
When the sub-sectors of the index are examined in detail, the highest price increase on an annual basis was seen in the transportation and storage services group, where prices rose by 37.26 percent.
Annual increases of 36.18 percent in professional, scientific and technical services, 30.62 percent in administrative and support services, and 29.56 percent in information and communication services were recorded.
Monthly Sectoral Developments
In July, the highest price increase compared to the previous month occurred in the main group of administrative and support services with a rate of 5.41 percent.
This sector was followed by real estate services with an increase of 5.26 percent and accommodation and food services with an increase of 4.70 percent.
