Ms. Le My Hanh, Deputy Director of the Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology, emphasized that in the knowledge-based and digital economy, intellectual property is not limited solely to protection certificates.
She conveyed to the participants that effectively managed intellectual property brings significant economic, commercial, and social values.

Within the scope of the conference, various papers were presented on digital transformation processes, the commercialization of intellectual property assets, valuation methods, and financial mechanisms.
Current Application and Document Statistics in the Region
According to statistics shared by the Ministry of Science and Technology, there are 12,187 industrial property registration applications across Can Tho.
It was reported that approximately 8,900 protection certificates have been issued to relevant individuals and institutions in the city so far.
