In the official letter sent to all universities bearing the signature of Council of Higher Education President Erol Özvar, it was stated that the country is passing through a critical process that strengthens the environment of peace, security, and national unity.
In the letter, attention was drawn to the strategic importance in this process of the goal of a Terror-Free Turkey set forth by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and all higher education institutions were asked to show sensitivity.
Academic Studies and Events
It was stated that universities are expected to contribute to this process with the scientific knowledge and academic accumulation they possess.
It was requested that the goal be addressed in its social, economic, legal, political, cultural, and security dimensions with the contributions of different disciplines, and that panels, conferences, and workshops be organized within this scope.
Topics to Be Covered in First Lectures
It was emphasized that covering this topic during the opening ceremonies and first lectures of the new academic year will increase students' awareness.
Stating that the activities to be organized will reinforce the environment of social peace and national solidarity, institutions were asked to take the necessary steps.
