Former PETLAS executive Abdulkadir Özcan detained in drug operation
The former corporate executive, in whose home drugs were found during an Ankara-based investigation, was apprehended by law enforcement forces.
Former PETLAS Board Member Abdulkadir Özcan, who previously made headlines with remarks uttered during a flight, was detained in an operation carried out within the scope of a drug and prostitution investigation in Ankara.
Ankara-Based Narcotics Operation
An operation was organized within the scope of an investigation conducted by the Ankara Police Department Narcotics Crimes Branch against drug and prostitution offenses.
It was reported that 18 out of a total of 26 suspects for whom detention warrants were issued have been captured, while search efforts continue for the remaining 8 individuals.
Drugs Seized in His Home
A search was conducted at the home of former PETLAS Board Member Abdulkadir Özcan, who was among the names detained within the framework of the operation.
During the searches, 175.45 grams of drugs were found, and a criminal examination was initiated to determine the exact nature of the substance.

Abdulkadir Özcan had drawn public attention with the dispute he caused and the remarks he uttered during a flight in December 2024.
Following the events, the individual, who was blacklisted by Turkish Airlines, had been handed over to law enforcement units.
