Minister Göktaş stated that the "Terror-Free Turkey" process is not about forgetting the pains experienced in the past, but on the contrary, this process is an important step in further strengthening national unity and solidarity.

It was reported that with the regulation made for privates who were injured in the fight against terrorism but could not obtain veteran status, the situation of approximately 9,000 people was rectified and applications are being received via e-Government.
Increase in Public Employment
Touching upon the employment rates of relatives of martyrs in public institutions, Minister Göktaş announced that the number of appointments of relatives of martyrs, which was around 5,500 in 2002, has reached 53,000 today.

Within the scope of her visit to Muş, the foundations of the Children's Homes Site were laid, the Barrier-Free Daycare Living Center was opened for service, and the entrepreneurship truck for women was put into operation.
