National Solidarity and Integration Coordination Board Held Its First Meeting

Coming together at the Presidential Complex under the chairmanship of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, the National Solidarity and Integration Coordination Board completed its first meeting and published a written statement regarding the issue.
First Meeting Held at the Complex
The meeting held at the Presidential Complex under the chairmanship of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz was recorded as the first step of the board established within the scope of Law No. 7595.
State Officials Attending the Meeting
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi, and Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler participated in the critical gathering at the Complex.
Head of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Secretary-General Hakkı Susmaz, and NSC Secretary-General Okay Memiş were also present at the meeting.
Historical Process and Legal Infrastructure
The process carried out with the aim of purging the country and the region from terrorism, removing violence from the agenda, and rooting the climate of brotherhood is based on Law No. 7595, which was adopted with high consensus in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
Entered into Force on August 18
The law, which forms the legal infrastructure of the process aimed at reinforcing domestic peace as one of the greatest building blocks of the Century of Turkey, entered into force as of August 18.
Four Sub-Committees Established
Within the scope of the meeting, it was decided to establish the Judicial and Legal Affairs Coordination Sub-Committee and the Monitoring and Detection Sub-Committee in order to carry out the work more effectively.
It was also officially announced that the Social Cohesion and Integration Sub-Committee and the Disarmament and Strategic Coordination Sub-Committee were established.
