As part of its teen mode, OpenAI will soon launch the College Planner feature to help high school students manage their college applications and processes.

College Planning Feature

College Planner brings together application requirements, deadlines, tasks, and financial aid steps for the schools on students' lists into a single plan. High school students will be able to track their progress and ask questions using this tool.

Scope and Target Audience

According to the announcement by OpenAI, this new feature will soon become available. In the United States, it will initially target 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students planning to attend a four-year university.

New Study Tools

OpenAI is also updating ChatGPT with features to make studying easier. iOS users will be able to upload multiple images simultaneously through multi-photo capture and convert them into a single PDF file.

Flashcard Generation from Notes

As part of the update, ChatGPT will also be able to create flashcards based on users' own class notes. This will enable students to make their study processes more efficient.
