Nvidia surpassed Wall Street expectations and drove its revenue to record levels in its latest quarterly results, showing that artificial intelligence infrastructure spending remains strong.

Financial Results and Revenue Growth

In the second quarter covering the May-July period, Nvidia more than doubled its revenue compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching $96.22 billion. This figure came in above the analysts' average expectation of $92.27 billion.

Net Income and Earnings Per Share

According to the data released by the company, net income reached $59.69 billion and earnings per share were $2.46. In the same period of last year, net income was at the level of $26.42 billion.

Outlook for the Next Quarter

Following the strong balance sheet, Nvidia projected revenue of approximately $108 billion for the current quarter. Market analysts, meanwhile, had estimated $104.86 billion for this period.
