Russian Air Attacks Target Kyiv Retailers, Ports and Industrial Sites

Russia launched a comprehensive airstrike with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles targeting ports, industrial facilities, and retail warehouses across Ukraine.

Intensive Attacks Throughout the Night

Russian forces targeted ports, industrial facilities, and retail distribution centers in various cities across Ukraine, notably the capital Kyiv.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that ballistic missiles and combat drones were used in the attacks, targeting critical infrastructure.

Activities of Air Defense Systems

The Ukrainian military announced that seven ballistic missiles were destroyed thanks to US-made Patriot interceptors dispatched to the country.

While the sounds of air defense systems firing were heard in the skies of Kyiv until the morning hours, falling debris caused damage in some areas.

Retail Centers and Warehouses Targeted

As a result of the attack, a shopping mall in Kharkiv was targeted, while distribution centers and warehouses of major retail companies near Kyiv were damaged.

Officials and company executives reported that facilities of leading brands such as COMFY and Roshen were destroyed or severely damaged in the attacks.

Logistics Facilities Hit in Russia

On the other hand, a logistics center located in the city of Ufa in Russian territory temporarily suspended its operations due to a drone attack.

Ukraine stated that it continues such operations targeting e-commerce infrastructures supporting Russia's war efforts.

Moldovan Airspace Violation

During the aerial activity, it was confirmed by local authorities that six Russian drones violated the airspace of neighboring Moldova.

Moldovan President Maia Sandu condemned the situation, while a drone was recovered on the country's territory.
