President Erdoğan's Message of Malazgirt and a Terror-Free Turkey in Ahlat
Speaking at events in Bitlis's Ahlat district, President Erdoğan drew attention to the resilience of the domestic front and brotherhood, announcing that a new era will begin.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important evaluations at the program held in the Ahlat district of Bitlis within the framework of the 955th-anniversary celebrations of the Battle of Manzikert.
Historical Significance of Ahlat
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized Ahlat's key role in the conquest of Anatolia during the program held at the Ahlat Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation's Garden.
Stating that the road to Manzikert was opened from Ahlat and that the knot of Anatolia was untied here, Erdoğan expressed that Jerusalem and Istanbul were conquered with the faith found in Ahlat.
Terror-Free Turkey and the New Era
Emphasizing a terror-free Turkey in his speech, Erdoğan stated that blood merchants will lose, while peace, brotherhood, and stability will win.
Stating that the doors of a new era will be ajar, the President conveyed that the resilience of the domestic front will increase and the country will be carried toward much stronger tomorrows.
Nemrut Caldera National Park
During the program, it was also shared with the public that the Nemrut Caldera was declared a national park by a Presidential Decree issued last week.
It was stated that thanks to this new decision, the Nemrut Caldera, known for its natural structure, will be protected much more effectively.
