Operating under the name SpaceXAI, the artificial intelligence unit launched its new model, Grok 4.6, focused on long-horizon agents and interactive visual tasks, at a competitive price in August.

Safety Rankings and Past Developments

Stronger safety measures had been introduced in January after Grok was previously used to generate inappropriate images. In recent rankings published by the Future of Life Institute, xAI dropped to seventh place among nine model developers.
