Statement on Terror-Free Turkey Process by Mustafa Şen
AK Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Şen emphasized during a meeting in Samsun that there is no turning back from the Terror-Free Turkey process and that the goal is to completely eliminate the terrorist potential in the region.
Speaking at the Century of Turkey Meetings organized by the AK Party Samsun Provincial Presidency, AK Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Şen made important evaluations regarding the Terror-Free Turkey process. Şen stated that there will be no turning back from the process and that the objective is to completely eradicate the potential for terrorism.
Century of Turkey Meetings Held
The 'Century of Turkey Meetings' program was organized by the AK Party Samsun Provincial Presidency at the Canik Meşe Facilities.
In addition to AK Party Deputy Chairman and Head of R&D and Education Mustafa Şen, deputies and party members attended the program.
Terror-Free Turkey and Regional Goal
Speaking at the program, Mustafa Şen stated that a process has been entered with the Terror-Free Turkey law and that no loss of life or action has occurred for over two years.
Şen noted that their goal is not only to end terrorism, but to create a Turkey and a region where not even the potential for terrorism remains.
Response to Opposition Criticism
Responding to criticisms regarding the process, Şen expressed that the terrorist organization has put an end to its existence and that there will be no turning back from this endeavor.
Stating that the public across the country wants this process to end, Şen drew attention to the fact that the pains of mothers are shared following the losses of life that occurred.
State Negotiations and Security Pacts
He emphasized that Turkey does not negotiate with terrorist organizations, but that relevant state units conduct talks to put an end to the issue.
He added that security cooperation agreements are made with brotherly states in order to ensure regional stability and create new security areas.
