A 35-week pregnant Turkish citizen negatively affected by the ferry accident off Kyrenia was transferred to Kocaeli by an air ambulance accompanied by medical teams.

Air Ambulance Transfer Operation

Following the ferry accident off Kyrenia, medical teams took action and initiated efforts to bring the 35-week pregnant citizen, who was affected by the accident, to Turkey.

Within the scope of the operation, the pregnant passenger was safely transferred to Kocaeli by an air ambulance after necessary medical precautions were taken.

Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu announced in a post on his social media account that the patient's health status is being closely monitored.

Minister Memişoğlu wished God's mercy upon the citizens who lost their lives in the accident, extending condolences to the grieving families and the nation.
