The construction of 16 health facilities with a total value of 8.5 billion liras is rapidly continuing in Şanlıurfa. With the new projects, it is aimed to increase hospital capacities and facilitate access to healthcare services.

Giant Billion-Dollar Health Investments

Health projects carried out across Şanlıurfa are being implemented with a total budget of 8.5 billion liras. According to statements made by the Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Directorate, the construction of 16 separate facilities in the city is continuing as planned.

New Hospital Projects Being Built

Within the scope of the investment, construction works for the 100-bed Harran State Hospital, the 200-bed Siverek Maternity and Children's Hospital, and the hospital projects in Viranşehir are being carried out without interruption.

Family Health and Migrant Centers

The construction of family health centers and reinforced migrant health centers is progressing rapidly in the districts of Harran, Siverek, Karaköprü, Suruç, Akçakale, Eyyübiye, Ceylanpınar, and Viranşehir.

Emergency Health Services Stations

While new 112 Emergency Health Services stations are being established in the Mehmetçik and Eyyübiye Yenice regions, the construction of a facility housing both a family health center and a 112 station together is continuing in Karaköprü Atakent.

Increasing Service Quality

With the completion of these new facilities under construction, it is targeted to significantly increase the bed and service capacities in hospitals.

Evaluation from the Health Directorate

Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erhan Berk emphasized that these ongoing investments are of great importance in terms of facilitating citizens' access to healthcare services.
