Çamlık Healthy Life Center Opens with Ceremony in Çekmeköy
Established in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Çekmeköy Municipality, the new center will offer comprehensive health and transportation support services to the local residents.
The Çamlık Healthy Life Center, brought to life through the cooperation of the Ministry of Health and Çekmeköy Municipality, opened its doors to citizens with an official ceremony.
Well-Attended Opening Ceremony
The center, prepared to facilitate access to healthcare services in Çekmeköy, entered service with a ceremony attended by protocol members and citizens.
Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, Çekmeköy Mayor Orhan Çerkez, and Provincial Health Director Abdullah Emre Güner attended the opening program.
Health and Transportation Services Combined
The facilities of the municipality's health units and the Healthy Life Center were combined under one roof to create a joint service model.
Within the body of the center, basic health services as well as transportation support services provided by the municipality will be offered to citizens.
Expert Counseling and Policlinic Units
Experts in the fields of psychological counseling, physiotherapy, dietetics, and child development will serve at the center.
In addition, special services such as a smoking cessation clinic, pregnancy school, and family planning will be made available to citizens.
Cancer Screenings and Support Transportation
Mammography as well as colon and cervical cancer screenings will be carried out within the scope of primary care through the KETEM unit.
Patient transport ambulances, disabled transport vehicles, and hospital transfer services for the elderly will be provided by the municipality.
