Fell Ill at Home and Was Rushed to Hospital
The 53-year-old famous comedian Cem Yılmaz suddenly fell ill while resting at his home in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, experiencing severe chest and back pain.
The artist received initial intervention locally before being taken to Ayvacık State Hospital, after which an expedited transfer was carried out.
Angiography Performed at University Hospital
Following the initial intervention in Ayvacık, Cem Yılmaz was transferred to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Medicine Hospital and taken under treatment.
In the operation performed by the Cardiology Department team, access was gained through the patient's wrist, and a balloon and stent were applied to his blocked vessel.

As a result of the approximately 40-minute operation performed by Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit and his team, the artist's blocked main vessel was successfully opened.
