Central Highlands Regional General Hospital Laboratory Reaches Level 4
Becoming the first public health unit in Dak Lak province to upgrade to medical laboratory quality level 4, the hospital has significantly increased its evaluation score.
Following an evaluation by a Ministry of Health delegation, the Laboratory Department of the Central Highlands Regional General Hospital achieved medical laboratory quality level 4, earning the title of the first public health unit in Dak Lak province.
Process of Increase in Evaluation Scores
The laboratory department achieved outstanding success by steadily increasing its score in recent evaluations.
The evaluation score, which was 69.6 percent in August 2024, rose to 81.3 percent in the August 2025 period.
Upgrade to Level 4 and ISO Certification
In the latest evaluation conducted in September 2026, the department raised its score to 92.7 percent, transitioning from level 3 to level 4.
Additionally, the laboratory unit registered its standards at an international level by receiving the ISO 15189:2022 certification in March 2026.
