A comprehensive screening and awareness-raising activity was launched in a park in Hakkari's Yüksekova district to raise public health awareness.
Initial Examinations at Booths Set Up in the Park
Coordinated by the Yüksekova District Health Directorate, a public health screening activity was launched at the 15 Temmuz Şehitler Park on Cengiz Topel Street.
At the special booth set up, blood pressure and blood sugar measurements of local residents were taken, and information was provided aimed at preventing chronic diseases.
High Interest from Citizens and a Three-Day Program
The high interest shown by local residents on the first day of the event clearly demonstrated the importance citizens attach to preventive health services and health awareness.
It was stated that the program, planned to last for a total of three days, will include new screenings and events in different areas of expertise in the coming days.
Measurements with a Dietitian and Active Lifestyle
It was reported that height and weight measurements will be carried out with the accompaniment of a dietitian in the later stages of the program, and guidance on nutrition will be provided to participants.
Additionally, it is aimed to instill healthy living habits in participants through active events organized under the guidance of physiotherapists and the "Learn Your Motion Age" application.
