Comprehensive health support from Konya to refugee camp in Kenya
Health services are being provided to those in need at the Dadaab Refugee Camp through the cooperation of the Rida Association, Konya Alperen Foundation, and TIKA.
A comprehensive health organization has been implemented for those in need at the Dadaab Refugee Camp in Kenya. The joint efforts carried out by the Rida Association, the Konya Alperen Foundation, and TIKA are taking place between October 1 and 11.
Jointly Organized Health Initiative
A comprehensive health campaign is being carried out at the Dadaab Refugee Camp in Kenya through the cooperation of the Rida International Association for the Aid of Orphans and the Needy, the Konya Alperen Foundation, and TIKA. With this organization planned between October 1 and 11, health services are being delivered to needy refugees in the region.
Press Statement and the Purpose of the Project
Prior to the work, a press conference held at the Rida Association headquarters was attended by Selim Doğdu, Vice President of the Rida Association and General Coordinator of the Health Screening; Musa Karaçor, President of the Konya Alperen Foundation; and volunteer health officer Hamza Bozoğlan. President Selim Doğdu emphasized that this work is not only a health organization, but also a humanitarian aid and solidarity project.
Specialist Health Team on Duty
Specialists serving in the branches of plastic surgery, ophthalmology, pediatrics, jaw surgery, anesthesia, and family medicine are taking part in the activity carried out at the Dadaab Refugee Camp, one of the largest refugee camps in the world. A total of 6 doctors, 6 nurses, and 4 volunteers are serving within the health delegation. Additionally, a circumcision team continues to provide services in the region.
