Within the framework of the efforts led by the Ministry of Health, comprehensive training was provided to millions of expectant mothers in Pregnancy Schools across the country.
Within the scope of the efforts carried out by the Ministry of Health, training and counseling services were provided to 1 million 117 thousand 413 expectant mothers in 1,774 Pregnancy Schools across the country.
Emphasis on Healthy Mother and Generation
Within the framework of Public Health Week, the theme of the first day of the week was determined as Healthy Mother, Healthy Generation. The Ministry continues its efforts to protect maternal and infant health and to ensure a healthy pregnancy process.
Activities of Pregnancy Schools
A total of 1 million 117 thousand 413 pregnant women have been provided with counseling services to date in 1,774 Pregnancy Schools nationwide. These schools provide training on topics such as the pregnancy process, physiological and psychological changes, and newborn care.
Application Data by Years
While 420 thousand 747 applications were made to Pregnancy Schools in 2025, 171 thousand 082 pregnant women applied to these schools and benefited from the services in the first six months of 2026.
Expert Support and Referrals
In addition to the trainings, pregnant women are actively referred during the process to expert health personnel such as physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, and dentists.
Motherhood Journey Application
The active user count of the Motherhood Journey mobile health application, which was launched in May 2025, has reached 260 thousand 140. The application has been used 8 million 767 thousand 462 times to date.

Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu stated in a post on his social media account that they offer holistic support with 1,774 Pregnancy Schools in 81 provinces and invited all prospective parents to the schools.
