Critical Healthcare Areas in Bursa Removed from Privatization Scope
Important healthcare facilities and areas in Bursa were removed from the privatization list by a Presidential Decree.
By a presidential decree, certain critical healthcare facilities and areas operating and under construction across Bursa have been removed from the scope of privatization.
Development Coming with the Presidential Decree
It was announced that certain healthcare facilities and health areas in Bursa were removed from the scope of privatization with Presidential Supplementary Decree No. 11722.
With this new decision, the uncertainty regarding the future of the healthcare areas, which had previously caused various debates in public opinion, was completely eliminated.
Regions Removed from the Scope of Privatization
The health area in Mustafakemalpaşa Tepecik, the High Specialty area, and the region where the existing dental hospital is located were among the places removed from the list.
Additionally, the 152 Evler district, where the former site of the High Specialty Hospital is located, as well as the Bursa State Hospital and Memleket Hospital area, were also placed under protection.
Political Statements and Assurances
Evaluating the issue, AK Party 27th Term Bursa Deputy Dr. Mustafa Esgin stated that the privatization of these areas was never right.
Esgin recalled that they had provided the necessary assurances to citizens at the beginning of the process and had previously stated that such a situation could not politically be out of the question anyway.
Concerns of Local Residents Relieved
It was stated that citizens living especially in the Mustafakemalpaşa Tepecik region experienced anxiety due to past debates, and that their concerns came to an end with this decision.
With the decision becoming official, the relief long awaited by the local public has been achieved.
