Değirmenlik Akıncılar Municipality Health Branch Announces Three-Month Inspection Report
During official checks covering July, August, and September, a large number of non-compliant products were confiscated.
The Değirmenlik Akıncılar Municipality Health Branch inspected a total of 205 businesses between July, August, and September 2026. As a result of the inspections, the activities of 3 businesses were suspended, legal penalties were imposed on 2 businesses, and non-compliant products were confiscated.
Inspections conducted in the three-month period
Within the scope of the work carried out by the Değirmenlik Akıncılar Municipality Health Branch, a total of 205 businesses were inspected, comprising 81 in July, 28 in August, and 96 in September.
It was reported that as a result of these inspections, the activities of 3 businesses failing to comply with regulations were suspended, and administrative fines were issued to 2 businesses.
Confiscated products and quantity details
During the checks conducted to protect public health, numerous food and consumer items found to be in violation of regulations were confiscated.
Over the three-month period, 1,730 food products, 50 pieces of equipment, 47 kilograms of meat products, 35 kilograms of dairy products, 46 kilograms of frozen food, 2 kilograms of spices, and 11 cosmetic products were seized.
Types of businesses subjected to inspection
The comprehensive inspections carried out by municipal teams were planned to cover many different sectors and service areas.
The inspected businesses included supermarkets and off-licences, meat and dairy manufacturers, bakeries, pastry production facilities, food manufacturing plants, and warehouses.
Additionally, restaurants, cafes, barbers, hairdressers, beauty salons, nurseries, and school canteens were among the inspected locations.
