Early achievement of targets in Da Nang's universal health check program

After more than 50 days of the simultaneous comprehensive health check program for all citizens in Da Nang city, it was recorded that over 65.7% of the population underwent regular or free health checks. The health sector continues to concentrate resources to accelerate progress with the aim of reaching the set targets ahead of schedule.

Mobilization of Health Facilities

Across Da Nang, 25 hospitals and regional medical centers, alongside dozens of public and private health facilities and 93 commune and ward health stations, have been mobilized to provide free periodic health checks or screenings to the public.

100-Day Intensive Campaign

A 100-day intensive campaign for periodic health checks for the public is being implemented with the goal of ensuring that by 2026, every citizen in the city undergoes at least one periodic health check.

Medical establishments adhere to appropriate arrangements and guidelines for each age group and health status, placing importance on the early detection of risk factors.

Inspection and Monitoring Mechanisms

The Department of Health has assigned deputy directors to directly inspect, supervise, and monitor eight districts within the city, with each district comprising 10 to 13 communes and wards.

Developing the habit of regular health checks not only benefits individuals but also contributes to improving the quality of life of the population and reducing the disease burden on society.
