Family physicians and primary healthcare services continue across Turkey
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu stated that services are provided by thousands of physicians in centers across the country and shared the focus areas of the new era.
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu announced that primary healthcare services are provided at the closest point to citizens by 31,000 family physicians serving in 8,401 Family Health Centers.
Centers Providing Service and Number of Physicians
Within the scope of the efforts carried out by the Ministry of Health, healthcare services are actively provided in thousands of family health centers across Turkey.
According to the disclosed data, a total of 31,000 family physicians are serving in 8,401 centers to meet the health needs of citizens.
Public Health Week Events
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu announced to the public that Public Health Week has begun through a post on his social media account.
The post emphasized that 81 provinces and 86 million citizens are focused on a single goal, working for a healthier Turkey.
Activities to be Carried Out in the Field
It is aimed to raise awareness regarding public health through field activities to be held in 81 provinces of Turkey throughout the week.
It was reported that the planned events will continue in the field around seven different themes for seven days.
