Artist Cem Yılmaz, who fell ill with chest pain at his home in Çanakkale, underwent an angiogram and had a stent placed at the hospital; it was reported that his health condition is good.
Famous comedian Cem Yılmaz, who fell ill with chest pain at his home in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, called the 112 Emergency Call Center to ask for help. Taken to the hospital, the artist underwent angiography, balloon, and stent procedures after being diagnosed with a heart attack.
Fell Ill at Home and Applied to Hospital
Famous comedian Cem Yılmaz suffered from chest pain while at his home in Paşaköy, in Çanakkale's Ayvacık district. Realizing the situation, the artist called the 112 Emergency Call Center and requested support from medical teams.
Picked up from his home by medical teams, the artist was first taken to Ayvacık State Hospital. Following the initial intervention there, he was referred to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital for further examination and treatment.
Successful Angiography Procedure Performed
Admitted to the Coronary Intensive Care Unit of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital, Cem Yılmaz was quickly taken in for an angiography procedure. Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit, who performed the operation, stated that the patient arrived fully conscious and suffering from a major heart attack affecting the anterior wall of the heart.
During the procedure, which lasted approximately 40 minutes, angiography was performed via the wrist, and a balloon and stent were applied to the blocked vessel. It was stated that thanks to the early and rapid intervention, no tissue loss occurred.
Health Condition is Good and Stable
Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu made a statement indicating that the necessary medical interventions for Cem Yılmaz's condition had been successfully completed. Minister Memişoğlu stated that the artist's general condition is good and his monitoring continues in the coronary intensive care unit.
His operating physician, Prof. Dr. Ercan Akşit, announced that the patient's condition is stable and, if everything goes well, he could be discharged from the hospital in two days.

The artist's older brother, Can Yılmaz, also made a post on his social media account regarding the matter. In his post, he informed his fans by announcing that the necessary medical interventions were made without wasting time and the treatment process was successfully completed.
