Fenerbahçe Medicana Women's Volleyball Team undergoes medical screening ahead of new season
The yellow-navy women's volleyball team players completed comprehensive medical checks at Medicana Ataşehir Hospital and started preparations.
Players of the Fenerbahçe Medicana Women's Volleyball Team gathered at Medicana Ataşehir Hospital within the scope of new season preparations and underwent detailed medical screenings across various departments.
Details of the Medical Checks
Gathering at Medicana Ataşehir Hospital, Fenerbahçe's volleyball players underwent eye, orthopedics, cardiology, ear-nose-throat, and internal medicine examinations ahead of the new season.
Following the examinations, the athletes underwent radiology, ECG-ECHO-EFFORT, respiratory function tests, and blood and urine analyses.
Star Players Undergo Medical Screening
Eda Erdem Dündar, Saliha Şahin, Hande Baladın, and Gizem Örge, who delivered successful performances wearing the National Team jersey at the European Championship, participated in the medical checks.
Additionally, Alessia Orro from the Italian National Team, Arina Fedorovtseva from the Russian National Team, and Chiaka Ogbogu from the US National Team were among the names who underwent the checks.
Expert Medical Staff Took Part
The volleyball players' medical checks were carried out by Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Yavuz Kürşat Polat, Cardiology Specialist Prof. Dr. Nuri Kurtoğlu, and Orthopedics Specialist Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bekir Ünal.
Furthermore, Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases Specialist Prof. Dr. Mehmet Eken and Eye Diseases Specialist Op. Dr. Deniz Marangoz also took part in the process.
