Fire and Intervention Training for 112 Health Teams in Samsun Havza
Emergency health personnel in Havza were briefed by fire department teams on fire types, intervention methods, and the use of fire extinguishers.
Theoretical and practical fire safety training was provided by fire units to 112 Emergency Health teams working in the Havza district of Samsun.
Purpose of the Training Program
A special program was organized in Samsun's Havza district to increase coordination among emergency teams and equipment usage skills. The program was carried out with the goal of enabling emergency health workers to intervene more consciously in potential incidents.
Firefighter and Health Cooperation
Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Havza Fire Regional Group Supervisor Murat Yılmaz stated that firefighters and health workers serve shoulder to shoulder in many incidents, emphasizing that their sole purpose is to save lives.
Theoretical Information
During the session held at the Havza Youth Center, detailed information was provided to the health personnel by training officer and firefighter Necip Efe Ateş. Employees were briefed on fire types, actions to be taken during a fire, and correct intervention techniques.
Practical Extinguishing Exercise
Following the theoretical training, the practical phase took place in front of the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Havza Fire Regional Group Directorate. Health personnel were demonstrated the correct and effective use of fire extinguishers hands-on.
