Free Health Screening at Advanced Age Center in Konak
In cooperation with Konak Municipality and the District Health Directorate, a comprehensive health screening and exercise training was organized for citizens aged 60 and over.
Konak Municipality carried out free health screenings and informational activities for district residents aged 60 and over within the framework of Public Health Week events.
Public Health Week Cooperation
The Ziya-Zişan-Saadet Aytulun Kardeşler Advanced Age Healthy Life Center hosted personnel from the Konak District Health Directorate on the occasion of Public Health Week, observed from September 3 to 9. Through the joint efforts of the two institutions, the aim was to raise awareness regarding community health.
Comprehensive Health Screenings
Within the scope of the screening activities carried out, blood sugar, blood pressure, height, and weight measurements were taken for members registered at the center. In addition, participants' respiratory function tests were meticulously performed.
Spine Health and Exercises
Special activities focusing on spine health were conducted in order to enhance the daily quality of life for elderly individuals. Physical therapy and posture exercises were taught to the participants practically by experts.
Mayor's Assessment
Konak Mayor Nilüfer Çınarlı Mutlu stated that they support their neighbors in aging healthily through health seminars as well as the courses and events held at the center. Mutlu expressed that they never leave citizens alone with such health screenings.
