Demand to Clarify Assignment Allegations

The İzmir Branch of the General Health and Social Services Public Employees Union published a written statement regarding the need to immediately clarify the assignment allegations concerning the catering tenders within the İzmir Provincial Health Directorate. The statement emphasized that the allegations in the process must be examined in all aspects.

Allegations Regarding February and March

The statement claimed that assignment transactions amounting to approximately $1 million were carried out in February and March. It was asserted that a transaction was established to transfer the amount to be paid by the Ministry after the tender to the account of an individual named A.K.

Transactions in August, September, and October

The continuation of the statement claimed that assignment transactions amounting to approximately 1 million liras were carried out in August, September, and October, and that the documents in question bore the signatures of Yenal Duğral and Nebahat Öncel.

Call for Transparency and Public Statement

The union drew attention to the importance of the principles of transparency, competition, and public interest in tenders. Making a call to the Ministry of Health, it demanded that the justifications for the assignment transactions, the amounts, and the public officials who signed them be disclosed to the public.
