Ung Thien commune is implementing regular health check-ups and free screenings for its residents to proactively detect diseases at the local level. This program is being carried out in accordance with the directives of the city government, the Hanoi Department of Health, and the commune People's Committee.
Priority Groups and Mobile Services
The program is implemented based on target groups, prioritizing the elderly, people with disabilities, poor households, war veterans, and those with chronic diseases. Examinations are conducted through health stations and mobile units.
School Health and Student Screenings
The commune health center, in coordination with Van Dinh General Hospital, has successfully implemented a free periodic health check-up program for students. Thousands of children in kindergartens, primary, secondary, and high schools have been examined.
Comprehensive Examination Contents
The examinations cover areas such as internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, and dentistry, supported by blood, urine, and various laboratory tests. Additionally, screenings are conducted for various chronic conditions and types of cancer.
Electronic Health Records
The results obtained after the examination are updated, linked with the VNeID account, and connected to electronic health records. Thus, a database is created to serve the long-term health management of the public.
