Health Day within the Scope of COP31

A special Health Day will be held on November 9 within the scope of COP31, hosted by Turkey in Antalya between November 9-20, 2026.

The issue of health will be addressed as the 10th priority under the heading of Dynamic and Resilient Health Systems on the summit's Action Agenda.

Health Risks of Climate Change

Attention will be drawn to the negative impacts of factors such as temperature increases, extreme weather events, and air pollution on public health.

It is aimed to increase the adaptive capacity of health systems against water and food security and infectious disease risks.

Antalya Resilient Health Systems Initiative

Within the framework of the Implementation COP vision, the Antalya Resilient Health Systems Initiative (AIR) will be announced to the international public.

Thanks to the initiative, it is aimed to transform scientific evidence and successful practices into concrete policies.

International Cooperation and Experience Sharing

Ministry of Health officials state that the project will be a global platform where countries can share their experiences.

Turkey's significant developments in the field of health in recent years will serve as a model for environmentally friendly systems.
