Health education provided to over 12 million people across 81 provinces by the Ministry of Health
Millions of citizens were provided with accurate health information through field studies conducted nationwide within the framework of the action plan.
Within the scope of the National Health Literacy Action Plan carried out by the Ministry of Health, direct access was provided to 12,182,293 people through training and awareness activities conducted in 81 provinces.

The Ministry of Health has carried out comprehensive studies nationwide since the moment the National Health Literacy Action Plan was implemented.
Thanks to the conducted training, seminars, stands, and field information activities, a total of 12,182,293 people were directly reached across 81 provinces.
Public Health Week and Vaccination Theme
The third-day theme of Public Health Week was designated to draw attention to the importance of vaccination.
In this context, the slogan "Question the Information, Verify the Source, Protect Your Health with Vaccination" was brought to the forefront.
Immunization Program and Updates
Within the framework of the childhood immunization program, routine vaccination applications against 13 different diseases are being sustained.
While the application of the Tdap vaccine to pregnant women started in April 2025, a transition was also made to the hexavalent combination vaccine at the same time.
Goal of Disseminating Accurate Information
Protection from diseases is targeted with the National Health Literacy Action Plan covering the years 2025-2028.
Additionally, thanks to the plan, it is aimed to combat disinformation in the field of health and to disseminate accurate information.
Activities Carried Out in the Field Across Different Areas
Information-sharing activities were not limited only to health institutions but were carried out at many different points.
Citizens were reached in areas such as schools, public education centers, mosques, barracks, prisons, nursing homes, and shopping malls.

Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu stated in a post on his social media account that the vaccine is the strongest shield against diseases.
Memişoğlu expressed that routine vaccination services against 13 diseases are being maintained with determination and that the transition to the hexavalent combination vaccine took place last year.
