Health Insurance Protocol Signed Between İLKSAN and Unico Sigorta for Teachers

A cooperation protocol has been signed between the Primary School Teachers' Health and Social Assistance Fund (İLKSAN) and Unico Sigorta to facilitate teachers' access to healthcare services.

Protocol Ceremony and Participants

The signing ceremony for the cooperation protocol between İLKSAN and Unico Sigorta was held at the Başkent Öğretmenevi.

Deputy Minister of National Education Muhammet Bilal Macit also attended the signing ceremony.

Statements from the Deputy Minister

During his speech at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of National Education Muhammet Bilal Macit conveyed his best wishes for a speedy recovery to the students injured in an attack near a high school in the Turgutlu district of Manisa.

Macit emphasized that the practice, covering approximately 300,000 member teachers, will enable educators to access healthcare services much more easily and with high quality.

Insurance Coverage and Age Limit Details

İLKSAN Chairman of the Board of Directors İsa Barış stated that no age limit is required in the agreement made.

İsa Barış announced that all 296,000 members have been included in the scope of Complementary Health Insurance and all members have been insured as of September 14.

Contracted Healthcare Institutions

It was stated that teachers insured within the scope of the protocol will be able to benefit from contracted healthcare institutions throughout Turkey.

Information was shared that members will be able to receive healthcare services from a total of 598 contracted healthcare institutions nationwide.

Bridge Between Public and Private Sectors

Unico Sigorta General Manager Ender Güzeler stated that this implemented practice combines the strong structure of the public health system with the private sector.

Güzeler expressed that this project forms a solid bridge between public and private healthcare services.
